Two Afghan staff with UNAMA
were killed in this morning’s suicide attack in Kabul according to a statement
by UN Special Representative Kai Eide.“I am shocked and greatly saddened to have learned that two of my staff members were among those killed in today’s suicide bombing on Kabul’s Jalalabad Road.
A third colleague has been wounded and is currently being treated for his injuries. All are nationals of Afghanistan.
At this time UNAMA is in the process of contacting the families of our colleagues to inform them of this tragedy. And we will grieve together. I condemn completely those responsible.”
